Hello, I'm Jane, I'd like to help

Do you find yourself putting on a brave face but feeling very different on the inside? Perhaps you’re empty and numb, or overwhelmed by emotions? Are you finding it hard to cope day-to-day? I know how tough life can be at times and how lonely it feels when no one seems to understand. If you’re wondering when you’ll feel happy or hopeful again, or you’re worrying about the future and fearing the worst, or maybe you’re struggling with a big change and a sense of who you are; I’d like to help.

Being able to talk freely to someone, without fear of judgement or shame, can be a huge relief.

I support individual adults who are affected by low self esteem, anxiety, depression, or relationship issues, often those who have experienced a bereavement or loss of some kind, or are living with the legacy of trauma, such as childhood sexual abuse. Our work together can help ease your pain, and guide you to feel calmer, clearer, and more confident in both yourself and finding a way forward.

I will have no expectations of you, no agenda. I simply invite you to join me in a compassionate conversation, where you will do most of the talking and I will listen with care, to understand what’s going on for you. I will encourage you to safely explore and reflect on your thoughts and feelings, gently uncover any unhelpful patterns, and consider alternative perspectives.

We will go at your pace and, whatever comes up, we'll try and make sense of it together.

If this sounds like what you're looking for, I'd love to hear from you.

appreciate it can feel a bit daunting. That's why I offer a free initial call or meeting, giving us a chance to get to know each other a little before you commit to anything. It’s important you choose a counsellor you feel comfortable with.

Please drop me an email using my contact form below and we can arrange a time to have an informal chat. I look forward to hearing from you.
